TY+ Connectivity

The entire TY+ range has RS232 connectivity as standard and offers USB or Ethernet options depending on customer requirements.
Tellermate TY+ connectivity can work with your existing back office management software systems, generate data for use with your data mining packages, or simply fill out a spreadsheet of your design. There are a range of methods and options allowing everything from full system integration to non-invasive data transfer.
Interface Developer Kit
The Tellermate Interface Developer Kit (IDK) has been designed to facilitate the easy interfacing of any TY+ model to an in-store or back office computer system. The IDK consists of a substantial collection of tools, documentation, example formats, and software sources to enable your IT department to quickly and easily integrate your TY+ into your existing system. The IDK is available to Tellermate TY+ users with no licencing implications. Proof of purchase of the TY+ may be required for those customers buying the IDK separately.
TellerCom K
TellerCom K (TCK) hardware offers non-invasive connectivity through a configurable keyboard interface. TCK connectivity does not require any change to your existing software, hardware or operating systems. Providing almost instant connectivity TCK is available with most operating systems that use PC keyboards.
There is no need for any integration work to be done by you as all of the configuration is dealt with by our product specialists. The TCK enables the TY+ to send cash totals by denomination and generate a total or sub-totals for the count. TCK will also send a total for non-cash information.
Ethernet
TY+ models R300 and higher have optional Ethernet connectivity. This option provides an active Ethernet port for TCP/IP network interface for data transfer to a computer network. This option is excellent for sites that are working with a head office or a control centre as it allows for remote viewer access to uploaded data. The additional advantage of this type of connectivity is that software upgrades or changes can be rolled out accross the entire estate almost instantaneously via a simple key press at head office.
USB
USB connectivity is available as an option for all models in the TY+ cash counting range. USB is a simple and reliable way to connect your TY+ to a computer and send count data. USB is a versatile option as most modern PCs are now provided with a number of easily accessible USB ports.
