Community and Environmental Policy

The Directors, Management and Staff of Tellermate recognise and accept that the activities of the company impinge upon the environment. In an effort to minimise its effects on the environment, Tellermate is committed to a policy of sound and responsible environmental management, leading to a sustainable use of resources and optimal management of waste. In particular the company will:

  1. Communicate this environmental policy and promote environmental awareness amongst all employees.
  2. Make this policy statement available to all interested parties on request and display this policy statement at company offices.
  3. Comply with all applicable legislation, statutory guidance and codes of practice at European, national and local levels.
  4. Take environmental factors into account in our purchasing policy and supplier contracts.
  5. Promote sustainable development whereby the present needs of the company will not compromise the abilities of future generations to meet their own needs.
  6. Adopt the practice of reasonable energy management and encourage energy efficiency throughout the company.
  7. Take measures that are reasonably practicable to:
  • Reduce waste at source.
  • Re-use waste components where it is safe and practicable to do so.
  • Dispose of final wastes in an environmentally suitable manner.

This policy statement will be reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains applicable to the activities of the Company.
